MONROVIA – June 21, 2019:A new First Aid Facility has been dedicated at the Central Bank of Liberia (CBL). The facility was dedicated on Wednesday, June 20, 2019 by the Executive Governor of the CBL, Hon. Nathaniel R. Patray, III.
Speaking at the brief ceremony which consisted of the ribbon cutting and brief remarks Executive Governor Patray, expressed delight over the setting-up of the first aid facility, reiterating that it be used for the intended purpose. The Executive Governor said the bank will continue to provide the necessary support to ensure that the Facility remains fully operational.
Two professional nurses who run and oversee the operations of the Health Office, expressed their appreciation to the Executive Governor for the initiative and for allowing them to be a part of the process.
Since its establishment in 2000, this is the first time there has ever been a first aid facility within the institution. A few members of management and staff expressed their gratitude to the Executive Governor and their delight at having medical assistance within the confines of the work environment.
