The Central Bank of Liberia (CBL) wishes to inform all Commercial Banks, Forex Bureaus, and the general business community, particularly businesses engaged in foreign exchange activities, that the Weighted Average Exchange Rate Survey of the CBL for 2021 will commence on Monday, February 15, 2021 and expected to last for 22 days. The Survey ends on March 12, 2021.
The Weighted Average Exchange Rate Survey is conducted within the first and third quarters of every year with the aim of determining the weights for participants of the various Forex Exchange Markets to inform the daily market exchange rates (Buying and Selling) regularly published by the Bank. The Survey will cover all major commercial cities across Liberia.
Accordingly, the CBL seeks the full cooperation of all concerned in the implementation of the Survey.
